Just when there is so much fuss about elaborate designs on recently made cues by a lot of cue artists in the world, i opted to be different. I focused on a design that would not catch so much attention because of its simplicity. I focused also on the playability. I asked Jack if he could make me a George Balabushka inspired cue. As most of us know, Balabushka cues are not so intricate when it comes to designs. That was what I wanted. After a couple of pics on the designs, we agreed on it and started the process of my cue. After a couple of months waiting, I finally have it. The first night I used it, I noticed how solid the hit is. It was very consistent too. I call my new cue my confidence-builder cue. There is great power yet superb control. Both shafts are matched pair and the weight and balance point of the cue doesn't change when I interchange it. May I also add that the two shafts are of very high grade hard maple. The linen wrap is so tightly done that you couldn't almost feel the threads. The finish of the cue is glass-like with deep luster that sometimes it is nice to just look at it in a display case. Still, I am playing with it. I will use it every time I play. I love my Viattorre. I love my Bushka.
